The problem of the conscience clause in reference to protection of life in polish law

The conscience clause is defined as an accepted legal possibility of avoiding the duties which are the source of conflict of conscience. The key point is the conflict of conscience and its function in system of law. The issue is even harder when in collision with legal duties are more important values, especially an obligation to protect human life. The author of the article analyses and presents the institution of the conscience clause in the optic of polish law.
