The weakness and the threat to the Contemporary Family

The matrimoine, which is the foundation of the family, with all consequences resulting from this fact, is a serious decision in the life of the youth. To make such a decision, a young person should be matured and properly prepared. The Church, from the beginning of its existence, evinced the special concern and surrounded with the due care the marriage and the family. This care has been expressed in given by her suitable norms and rules of law, regulating different spheres of the institution of the marriage and family. The care of the Church for families comes to light in her priestly activity consisting in preparing children and young people for the life in the marriage and the family, the accompaniment to the Christian family in her way to the fullness of the community of love and the help provided in crisis situations. The goal of the present article is an attempt to show the present situation, in which the Polish family and the marriage are, weaknesses and threats to which it is subject and the role of the Church in overcoming these difficulties, and particularly in preparing the youths to the matrimoine.
