The article presents the Christian way of being present in the widely understood world of social communication. The reflections have been inspired by the Pope Benedict XVI’s teaching, especially by his Message for the 45th World Communications Day. The first and second parts focus on the papal understanding of relations with the mass media, on the possibilities of positively manage them and of God’s presence and action in the medial word. The third part focuses on the Christian way of being present in the information’s world as the result of the example given by God and as the gift of His love, as the actualization of the Christian solicitude for the common prosperity.References
