Religiosity of the elderly is a common phenomenon, particularly visible in Poland. Older people find in religion and its practice the source of their spiritual life and the foundation of the meaning of life. Satisfying these needs of older people is not only an expression of respect for human dignity, but it is a social task for the state, society, families, religious communities and the Church. The purpose of this study is to try to answer the question about the level and diversity of religiosity of older people in Poland. This goal will be achieved using statistical data from the study of Polish official statistics and the international study European Social Survey. These studies allow to answer only partially the above-mentioned research questions.References
