The Ethics and Malpractice
Reliability in science is one of its qualitative foundations. For this reason, the editorial staff of "Logos and Ethos" thank authors for their ethical attitude, but at the same time requires them to disclose the contribution of individual authors in the publication. According to the editors, "ghostwriting" and "guest authorship" are a manifestation of scientific misconduct, and any detected cases will be unmasked, including notifying the relevant units.
Accountability
The editor of the reviewed journal is responsible for making decisions regarding the selection of articles for publication, and in addition is responsible for everything that has been published in the journal. By making these decisions, the editor is guided by the editorial policy of the journal, as well as the legal requirements for defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editor consults with other editors or reviewers when deciding whether to publish. The editor should follow ethical standards and always be ready to publish corrections, explanations, appeals or apologies if necessary.
Confidentiality

Fairness
The editor should evaluate manuscripts for intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the author(s).
Duties of authors
1. The authors of articles are required to submit only original texts written by themselves, never published before. Sending an article simultaneously to more than one Editor at the same time is a violation of the ethics of publication.
2. In the case of collective work, the authors are obliged to indicate the percentage of co-authorship; in the absence of such an indication, it is assumed that the contribution of each author in the creation of this article is equal.
3. The author's obligation is to disclose all sources used in the work on the publication.
4. The author is obliged to sign a contract containing a statement of the originality of the work. The contract templates: [lie_license_en.pdf]
5. In the situation where the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his own published work, it is his duty to immediately notify the editor of the journal and collaborate with the editor in order to publish explanations.

Disclosure, conflicts of interest, and other issues
In case of suspicion of unethical practices, the Editor will be guided by the COPE principles – he will consider withdrawing or submitting amendments to the article.
Unpublished materials disclosed in the submitted article cannot be used in the own research of the editorial office without the express written consent of the author.
