Peer review process

Peer Review Process

The journal respects the standards for journals published in Poland, given by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Reviewer - independent expert

Detailed rules for reviewing:

Stage I

The initial review is aimed at general qualification of the scientific article, in terms of its compatibility with the profile of the journal, compliance with editorial requirements applicable in the publishing house (in particular the style of footnotes) and general linguistic correctness. If the text meets the requirements of the initial review, it is referred to the proper review (stage II). The editors reserve the right to refuse to start the review process without giving reasons.

Stage II

The proper stage of the review, during which the text is subjected to double anonymous, for the reviewer and author of the text, review. The author of the text does not know the reviewers and the reviewers do not know the author of the text ("double-blind review process"). Reported texts should make it impossible to identify the author (text without the author's name and links allowing him to be recognized). The text should, in addition to linguistic correctness, be characterized by the originality of the subject taken, the justification for the thesis, and take into account the literature of the subject. Articles that do not add anything, or little new to the issue discussed, will not be accepted for publication. The review is prepared according to the review form and should contain a clear conclusion regarding the acceptance of the text for publication.
