Lviv archdiocese of the Latin Rite in light of the archdiocese schematism of 1939

Lviv was the only European city in which as many as three Catholic metropolitans resided. The Latin archdiocese was mentioned already back in 1367. The article provides a synthetic overview of its history.

Accordingly, the author authorises all interested parties to use the work on the following conditions:
- the author and the title of the work will be listed,
- the place of publication (name of the periodical and an Internet link to the originally published work),
- the work will be distributed in a non-commercial way,
- no derivative works will be created.
