the Creed, God’s almightiness, the creationAbstract
The first article of the Christian Creed tells the truth about God – the Creator of the universe. There were different ways of defining and interpreting this fact in ancient Church. Most often it was being explained in contrast to imprecise concepts, especially gnostic and manichean ones. Learning about the history of the Christian Creed helps to understand this problem. The article makes an attempt to present this history and both the origin and sense of the first article. The analyses are based mainly on religious texts.Downloads
