“One hour a day: a study of health”. Prolegomena to the hermeneutics of Nietzsche’s philosophy of illness and health

Artykuł prezentuje hermeneutyczną interpretację filozofii Fryderyka Nietzschego, której perspektywa wychodzi od centralnej opozycji zdrowia i choroby, argumentując, że rozróżnienie to stanowi nadrzędny klucz do zrozumienia rozwoju jego myśli. Opierając się na pismach opublikowanych, korespondencji, notatkach, danych biograficznych oraz najnowszych ustaleniach dotyczących neurologicznego podłoża choroby Nietzschego, studium łączy analizę tekstualną i biograficzną w celu rekonstrukcji egzystencjalnego horyzontu jego filozofii. Autor dowodzi, że pojęcia zdrowia nie pełni u Nietzschego jedynie funkcji metaforycznej, lecz stopniowo przekształca się w fundamentalną kategorię antropologiczną i metafizyczną. Wyróżnione zostają trzy perspektywy ujmowania relacji zdrowia i choroby: jako przeciwstawnych stanów, jako dynamicznego procesu przezwyciężania oraz jako uniwersalnych sił kształtujących historię, kulturę i samą wolę mocy. Analiza wskazuje, że doświadczenie przewlekłego cierpienia odegrało zasadniczą rolę w formowaniu Nietzscheańskich koncepcji samoprzezwyciężenia, amor fati, „wielkiego zdrowia”, resentymentu, dekadencji i nihilizmu. Szczególna uwaga poświęcona zostaje napięciu między ideałem „wielkiego zdrowia” a narastającymi oznakami destabilizacji psychicznej poprzedzającej załamanie filozofa w 1889 roku. Artykuł konkluduje, że ewolucja znaczeniowa pojęcia zdrowia dostarcza spójnych ram interpretacyjnych dla uchwycenia zarówno wewnętrznej jedności, jak i historycznego rozwoju filozofii Nietzschego.
