The main purpose of this article is to analyze the specifics of totalitarian regimes according to Alain Besançon, Augusto Del Noce and Rolf Zimmermann, as well as presenting the main features of the new morality, which dominated in communism, fascism and national socialism. The criminal nature of communism is very important in the analyzes developed by Besançon. This author shows the need for equal treatment of the evil caused by all totalitarian regimes. According to Del Noce you need to connect the problem of totalitarian systems with the idea of modernity and the process of secularization. In Zimmermann’s studies there is a category of the morality of salvation, which served to justify the evil and the crimes committed in the twentieth century.References
