The article attempts to present the unique way of being in the world, described by Joseph Soloveitchik, namely the halakhic man. It demonstrates how the normative-theoretical relationship with God can come into existence only through its practical-ethical realization. Following Soloveitchik, it shows the possibility of equating the realization of halakha with contraction (tzimtzum), holiness, and creation. Finally, it presents the subject in its existential dimension—the human being whose task is continuous self-creation: the constant recreation of oneself in a messianic act of perfecting both the self and the world.
