This article is a review of the monograph entitled The Case of Jan Andrzej Morsztyn during the Years 1681–1683 by Grzegorz Kietliński (Kontekst Publishing House, Poznań 2022, 98 pages). A thorough analysis of selected aspects of the book, including its structure, composition and methodology, leads to conclusions that are relevant to the subject of the reviewed study, i.e. the Morsztyn case during the years 1681–1683 and its circumstances.
