Personal status of the Małopolska Province of the Society of Jesus (1926–1939)

The purpose of this article is to present the personal status of the Małopolska Province of the Society of Jesus in the years 1926–1939. It presents the number of monks incardinated in the province, residing in its territory and abroad, as well as the staffing of individual religious houses. The next issues, closely related to the topic of the article, are the number of candidates entering the order, the number of people resigning from the order, and mortality. These data made it possible to show the processes influencing the development of the province’s cadres and the scope of work carried out by the monks belonging to the province.References
