The Bible between psychology, exegesis, and theology: Jordan Peterson, Nicholas T. Wright, and Scott Hahn as interpreters of Scripture in the digital space

The article investigates digital-era interpretations of Scripture by the Canadian clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson, the Anglican New Testament scholar Nicholas Tom Wright, and the Catholic theologian and former Presbyterian pastor Scott Hahn. The primary sources include selected monographs and digital presentations produced by the three authors. Each of the article’s three sections provides a profile of one interpreter followed by a systematic analysis of his hermeneutical approach. The study demonstrates a substantive online demand for advanced biblical content. Audiences value Peterson’s existential and moral readings of biblical narratives, Hahn’s covenantal, sacramental, and mystagogical hermeneutic, and Wright’s historically grounded kerygmatic and didactic biblical theology, which connects scriptural meaning with the lived experience of hearers.
