The Natural Image of the Person in Personalism

Underpinning personalism with empirical sciences aroused fears of reductionism among the personalists themselves. At the same time, they emphasized that personalism tries to fully understand the phenomenon of the human person. To ignore the results of empirical science would therefore also be a kind of anthropological reductionism. It is therefore not surprising that in their scientific works they attempt to interpret the results of empirical sciences. The aim of this article is to show the relevance of this issue in the context of ongoing empirical research on the border between the animal world and the human world.
