Abstract

The article presents the missing elements of the Q material, pointing to their specific peculiarities resulting from the critical and comparative analysis. In comparison with the Synoptic Gospels, Q is distinguished by the lack of: narrative continuity, reports of miracles, description of the death and resurrection of Jesus. Significant gaps in the tradition of Q, show a different view of the Master from Nazareth — He appears as a prophet and envoy of the Kingdom of God full of power, the personification of Wisdom. While Mark, Matthew and Luke encourage people to believe in Jesus in their Gospels, Q Gospel calls for following and imitating Him.
