This article is a review of Stanisław Zięba’s latest book on the information dimension of the universe, which is a continuation of previous publications on the emergentist approach to the subject of life. Individual chapters devoted to the issue of information at individual emergent levels are discussed: universe, life, and man. The category of information described by Zięba has also been generally associated with the concepts presented by Anna Lemańska, Michał Heller and Lucian Floridi.
