  • Analecta Cracoviensia

    Analecta Cracoviensia is a theological annually issued periodical of the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków, Poland. The journal has an interdisciplinary character, so it publishes articles on theological sciences and biblical sciences, as well as areas of sciences related to them: philosophy (including relativistic cosmology and the relations between science and religion), history (including the history of the Catholic Church) and canon law. The journal accepts submissions in Polish, English, French, and Spanish.

  • Annales Canonici

    Annales Canonici is a semiannual law journal aimed at academic audiences, legal practitioners, and all those interested in canon law. The journal publishes reviews and reports on events—especially those connected with legislative activity in the universal Church and in local Churches—as well as news and information on significant achievements in canon law scholarship in Poland and abroad. The journal accepts submissions in Polish and English.

  • Folia Historica Cracoviensia

    Folia Historica Cracoviensia is a peer-reviewed scholarly semi-annual published by the Faculty of History and Cultural Heritage of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków. The journal is intended primarily for scholars working in history, art history, archaeology, ethnology, and cultural anthropology, while also drawing on related fields. It welcomes interdisciplinary debate on key issues in contemporary humanities. It publishes both monographic and multi-topic issues.

  • Logos i Ethos

    Logos and Ethos is a semi-annual journal published since 1991 by the Faculty of Philosophy at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. The journal was established to disseminate national and international research in the broadly understood field of philosophy. We publish scientific articles, translations, commentaries, reviews, reports, and interviews. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. Logos and Ethos is indexed by ERIH+ (European Reference Index for the Humanities), BazHum, Pol-Index, PBN (Polish Scientific Bibliography), and The Philosopher’s Index.

  • Polonia Sacra

    Polonia Sacra is a scholarly journal published by the Theological Faculty of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. It features original scholarly articles, reports, and reviews in the fields of theology and biblical studies. The journal is dedicated to promoting Polish theological thought and its interconnections with Polish culture and history. It aims to disseminate research findings on the Bible, Christian religiosity, religious freedom, as well as ecumenical and interfaith dialogue. It also highlights contributions of notable figures to theology, Polish culture, and Church history. Polish theological research is contextualized within international discourse. The journal serves as a forum for exploring the evolution of theological ideas through the ages, providing original analyses of eminent theologians, the legacy of John Paul II, and other saints and theologians. It addresses Catholic traditions, contemporary pastoral challenges, and offers commentary on recent documents from the Holy See. The editorial board accepts only unpublished texts that present original research findings. Submissions are welcomed on an ongoing basis, with the thematic focus of each issue being shaped by the received contributions.

  • Pro Musica Sacra

    Pro Musica Sacra is a peer‑reviewed scholarly annual devoted to research on music in the Catholic Church. Its areas of interest include choral studies, sacred music composition, organ music, Gregorian chant, liturgics, the history of church music, and sacred music performance. The editorial team consists of specialists affiliated with the Institute of Church Music at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków, Poland. The journal accepts submissions in Polish and English.

    "Social Communication Ethics" (ISSN 3071-9836) is the quarterly journal of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Pontificial University of John Paul II in Krakow published since 2025. 

  • Studia Sandomierskie. Teologia – Filozofia – Historia

    Studia Sandomierskie is a scientific journal of the Sandomierz diocese and the Faculty of History and Cultural Heritage of the John Paul II Pontifical University in Krakow. The periodical publishes articles in the field of humanities. Currently, the yearbook contains four sections: history, theology, biblical studies, and philosophy.

  • Studia Socialia Cracoviensia

    "Studia Socialia Cracoviensia" is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Social Sciences of the John Paul II Pontifical University in Krakow since 2009 (hiatus 2021-2024). It is a forum for the presentation and promotion of scientific research in the area of ​​education, issues of marriage and family, society, culture, morality and social ethics, social and family policy, issues of socio-cultural transformation and civilizational development, and the reception of the social teaching of the Church with particular emphasis on the thought of John Paul II.

    A peer-reviewed scholarly semi-annual published since 1938 by the Faculty of Theology, Section in Tarnów, of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków. In addition to theses, it contains translations of texts and commentaries on them, reviews of Polish and foreign publications.

  • The Person and the Challenges

    The revised scientific journal established to disseminate international research in the field of theology, education, canon law and social studies inspired by the person and teaching of Pope John Paul II provides a forum for discussion connected with the above mentioned, or closely related, areas of studies. The journal “The Person and the Challenges” is prepared by the Theology Faculty, Section in Tarnów of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków since 2011 – the year of the beatification of the Holy Father John Paul II. This journal is published by the Scientific Publishing House of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow.  The Journal publishes over 30 scientific and review articles annually.
