Saint Faustina Kowalska as a precursor of the Second Vatican Council. A theological and Biblical study

The article presents a theological and biblical analysis of Saint Faustina Kowalska’s „Diary” as a prophetic anticipation of the key themes of the Second Vatican Council. It combines exegesis of selected Scripture passages (Mt 5:7; Jn 3:16; Eph 2:4; Mt 28:19; Jn 6:51) with an examination of conciliar documents. The paper shows how Faustina’s mystical visions are biblically grounded and harmonize with the spirit of aggiornamento. It emphasizes the practical role of exegesis as a means of renewing theology and pastoral ministry.
