Norms for the Preparation of New Liturgical Celebrations and an Outline of Their Implementation in the Documentation of the Liturgical Commission of the Polish Bishops’ Conference

The article addresses the practical implementation of norms for introducing new liturgical celebrations in local Churches after the Second Vatican Council, based on documents of the Holy See. The analysis covers the stages of preparing the local calendar, composing liturgical texts, and the procedures of approval and correspondence with Rome. The method is a comparative analysis of normative and archival documents, with reference to the example of the celebration in honor of Blessed Angela Truszkowska. The results show general conformity with the applicable norms, despite incomplete documentation and some procedural gaps. The study highlights the need for further systematization of liturgical practice and clearer regulation of pastoral consultations, Latin translations, and correspondence with the Dicastery.
